I had a three-year-old and 2-year-old and I, like many Mamas, had been very inconsistent with my self-care throughout my motherhood journey. I saw Emily posting about her new venture and I felt like I needed to jump, two feet in, for myself. I was not new to workouts and even had a little understanding of macros but Emily made it so easy to not only understand but implement into my day to day life without crazy restrictions or giving up the things I ENJOY. I continue to implement those things to this day. For me, the biggest impact, when working with Emily, was the accountability, encouragement, and diving deep into those harder things that come up and can sometimes be blockers ... like my perfectionism, Mom guilt, giving myself grace, etc. I stuck with the process and put in the work. The check in’s, tracking my macros, working out, the hurdles, self-reflection, and the helpful pushes from Emily….. and I had great success with it! My opinion, don’t wait to jump with both feet in. Your time with Emily will be so much more than macros. It will be having someone amazing in your corner who will help set you up for long-term success!

I came to Emily looking for dieting advice, but I found so much more. The relationship I had with the scale and the meaning I assigned to the numbers had me in a perpetual state of yo-yo dieting, low self esteem and feeling “never enough”. Emily and I started with setting my initial macro numbers together. I was shocked by how much food I could eat and still be on a “diet”. I eat dessert every night, never gave up socializing with friends, and never feel deprived. Emily walked me through areas of self sabotage and debunking beliefs I had around weight, size and dieting. She asks thoughtful questions in a way that pokes holes in a diet culture built on false narratives and unattainable expectations. Emily has guided me in setting new attainable and sustainable goals. Together we have worked on cementing new thought patterns and creating awareness in how I’m choosing to show up for myself. This is so much more than macro counting. I was looking for the newest diet, but instead I found tools that have given me peace with myself and my body. I’ve lost 10lbs and haven’t felt this strong physically or mentally in a long time. I have zero regrets in investing my time and money in working with Emily. She has been worth it!!
